2019 School Nurse Supervisor Annual Spring Conference

Audience: School nurses, school nurse supervisors, directors of special education/pupil services, school medical advisors, and other school staff 

This activity will provide school nurses and school nurse supervisors with information and programs that support students. As a result of attending this conference, participants will learn about:

•Electronic cigarettes and its impacts on school health;

• Updates in epilepsy treatment and management in school environments;

• Communication strategies for enhancing professional relationships;

• Models of school nurse supervision and LPNs in school health programs;

• Learn about the State’s immunization database and immunization requirements for 2019 - 20 school year; and

• New legislation and trends in the state.
