    EXHIBIT SPACE:
    All space is assigned on first come first serve basis. Fees are indicated on form. Applications must be accompanied by payment.Exhibitors may not advertise or display goods other than those manufactured or sold by them in the regular course of their business. The space assigned to the exhibitors is for their own use.

    EXHIBITOR SERVICES
    Each booth space includes one (1) six foot by 30 inches draped table and two (2) chairs.

    ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
    110 Voltage: $75 per day anything over standard usage will require special arrangements and additional cost to the exhibitor.

    TELEPHONE LINE AND/OR INTERNET ACCESS is arranged between the hotel and exhibitor at the exhibitor’s expense including taxes when applicable.

    EXHIBIT HOURS
    The Exhibit Hall and corridors will be open from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm on Wednesday, October 30th. This time period may change as the convention agenda develops. Set-up available on Wednesday morning, October 30 (hotel permitting) after 10:30 AM. Exhibitors must break down display booth by 3:00 PM on Wednesday. We expect all vendors to honor this time commitment.

    For 113 years nurses in CT convene to learn about important issues that relate to nursing in many specialty areas across all health settings!

    The American Nurses Association identified the critical need to educate all nurses about Human Trafficking, a public health crisis.

    This event will kick off several skill building workshops for nurses to increase their understanding of the issue and strategies to implement to support patients.

    Who should attend: Nurses and members of interdisciplinary teams that collaborate to identify and support individuals that are trafficked or post trauma.  Nurses in many health care settings may have the opportunity to identify and support individuals in human trafficking, such as the emergency room, primary/ambulatory care, community health centers, schools and more! Gather your team members or come with like minded colleagues to begin an intentional approach in your setting!

    Outcomes

    • Nurses will understand the pervasive issue of Human Trafficking
    • Nurses will understand the CT landscape for Human Trafficking
    • Nurses will begin to understand their role in leading and creating models of care/services in their organizations
    • Nurses will leave with actionable plan of next steps!

    During this streamlined event we will explore the role of the school nurse with district run early care and education programs. Through an exploration of the early childhood period, and the goals of early care and education, the nurse will examine her role in supporting health and safety of the child. The nurses will gain specific knowledge about best practices, areas of focus, resources and strategies to support programs.  The nurse will gain knowledge and strengthen their ability to promote best practices to support the health and safety of children within early childhood settings.

    Participants must attend all day conference, complete all assignments and evaluation form in order to receive a certificate of completion.

    Participants will learn:

    • Tools and resources to support early childhood programs in health and safety topics will be introduced and reviewed
    • Role and responsibilities of the Child Care Health Consultant in CT
