This activity will provide school nurses and school nurse supervisors with information and programs that support students. As a result of attending this conference, participants will learn about:

  • Infectious Diseases: Role of the School Nurse
  • Asthma and Absenteeism: School nursing interventions
  • Emerging issues with adolescent risk behaviors
  • Connecticut's immunization database and immunization requirements for the 2020-2021 school year
  • New legislation and trends in the state.

Audience: School nurses, school nurse supervisors, directors of special education/pupil services, school medical advisers, and other school staff
