Do you spend your days caring for others and put yourself last?

Do you ever think about who would take care of you?

Do you know how to take a break?

Finding the right self care that works for you can be a challenge!

Join us for an interactive reflection on how to take care of yourself in a way that works for you. This is a chance to think about what you need for your well-being. As healthcare workers we are always putting others first but we MUST take the time to check in with ourselves.

Paulette Schwartz, LCSW


Paulette Schwartz, LCSW is the Director of Human Centered Care for Hartford HealthCare’s Community Network. The Community Network includes HHC’s Rehabilitation Network, Senior Services and Centers For Healthy Aging, Homecare (Certified and Hospice) and Independence at Home. Paulette is instrumental in supporting patient experience and employee engagement for all divisions. She partners with the executive leadership team and all levels of staff throughout all of HHC statewide. Paulette’s social work background and experience helps validate the connection between employee well-being and its impact on patient experience. She worked with the Hartford HealthCare at Home Hospice team for 5 years before joining the Office of Experience. Prior to HHC, Paulette was the Director of the Cancer Services Program for Suffolk County in NY and previously spent over 10 years in the field of Alzheimer’s and dementia. Paulette is passionate about creating environments where humanistic interactions are a priority of life.  Paulette has a Master of Social Work from Fordham University and will be starting her Master in Public Health in the Fall of 2020.
