The pandemic highlighted the importance of your professional association more than ever! Ensuring the graduate nurse was able to be hired and begin practicing by extending the time to take the unavailable NCLEX, advocating for PPE in all practice settings, recognizing the care taking place in long term care, corrections, local health departments, and schools!

Advocacy is not just policy and politics! Working with stakeholders to support healthcare and healthy communities is critical to expanding nurses informing conversations and impacting broader health issues!
